GE Lighting is now Tungsram
The Familiar Quality and Service Now Have a New Name
One of Filkab's leading partners, GE Lighting, has sold its operations in Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa to Tungsram Operations Kft.
Tungsram, a company established in 1896, has assumed all commercial and production operations of GE Lighting in the region. This smooth transition ensures that the clients will continue to enjoy the superior service and quality of GE Lighting.
Tungsram takes over all of the contractual obligations of GE Lighting to its distributors. The clients of Filkab will continue to have access to the same products as before. Tungsram aspires to further improve on the quality of the customer service, as well as, to expand GE Lighting's innovative product portfolio.
Under the agreement of transfer of ownership Tungsram will continue using the GE brand for the next two years. During this period all products will be re-branded from GE to Tungsram.
